Hidden Harms: Why how we talk about fraud and financial abuse matters
Thu, Jun. 11, 2026 2:00pm — 3:00pm
Fraud and financial abuse can cause lasting harm that goes far beyond money. This webinar explores the emotional impact of financial exploitation on older and vulnerable adults and how trauma informed, compassionate responses can reduce barriers to help, minimize victim blaming, and strengthen support.
Strengthen your ability to recognize and respond to fraud and financial abuse in ways that reduce harm and improve outcomes. This session provides practical, trauma-informed and intersectional insights you can apply in client/member interactions, investigations, case management, and referrals—helping you reduce victim-blaming, improve reporting and follow-through, and connect older and vulnerable adults to more appropriate supports.
